If Satellite TV For PC is such a great product, why doesn't the web site talk more about the features of the software? What does the program look like? How does it work? How good is its video buffering? Can you save shows you watch? None of these questions are answered by the long sales page.

Satellite TV For PC is not satellite service, nor is it a service provider. It is simply a program you download after paying. The program presumably makes it relatively easy to locate and start watching any of thousands of TV videos. All the TV programs are delivered over your internet connection. All come from free sources. You must have a high-speed connection to view a program without interruption. Broadband is best and might be a requirement for continuous streaming.

The big question is why would anyone pay $99.95 for a product that is essentially available for free from many web sites? Google 'streaming video tv' and see what you get. Good, free programs that do the same as Satellite TV For PC are widely available. Lists of free TV programs are equally easy to find. It is always a good idea to have a current virus checking program running on your computer when you download free programs. But other than that small and manageable risk, I will use the free programs, thank you.

If the web site explained more about the software and how it was superior to the free programs, it would have a higher rank. If the sales pitch focused more on the software and less on the number of TV programs available, I would have given it a higher rank. I don't know about you, but I have little interest in watching thousands of channels that are broadcast in languages I don't understand. What, exactly, is the point? It is no advantage to me. Save your money and avoid this product.
